What people ask me about this.
Q1So does AI set my prices?
No. Your rates, volume tiers and margins are fixed in rules that you define yourself. AI reads the enquiry and fills in the right template; the arithmetic is done with your own figures, not with an estimate.
Q2Does the quote go to the customer automatically?
Not without your approval. In the setup I build by default, every draft first lands on a work list where you approve, adjust or discard it. Fully automatic sending can come later, once you trust it.
Q3Does this work with my accounting software?
Usually yes, but we deliberately leave that for the second phase. The first version runs alongside, so you can judge whether the drafts are right before anything changes in your books.
Q4What if my quotes are actually very specific?
Then this is often even more useful, because it is precisely the looking-up that costs time. To be honest, though: the more professional judgement each quote contains, the more you will keep doing yourself. We discuss that before I build.
