At Aether AI, AI has been preparing our email for months. An email that comes in is picked up straight away: by the time we open it, the reply is already waiting. Written in the style of our own sent mail, so it sounds like us, and taking the step we would normally take. We learned two things along the way. An AI that sends by itself is one you stop trusting after a single wrong tone. And a system that only looks at the drafts folder more than once prepared a reply to an email that had already been answered. So it first checks sent and trash, a second round reads every draft and every attachment, and it never sends anything itself.

Q1Does the system send email itself?
No. Every reply is a draft in your own mail program. You read it, change what you want and press send yourself. The decision stays with you, and a wrong tone can never reach a customer unnoticed.
Q2How does it end up sounding like me?
The writing style is derived from email you sent yourself: how you open, how long your sentences are, how you sign off. It also looks at what you normally do with a given question, such as attaching a quote or proposing a meeting.
Q3What if I already answered an email?
Then no draft is made. Before anything is prepared, the system checks your sent mail and your trash. We built that check because it went wrong more than once at our own place without it.
